Spend a day, have a meal in the dining room, take in a demonstration or stop to listen to some great local talent. Join us for a special day.

Christmas Craft Show & Sale

Attendance for our Christmas Show is 12,000.

This Annual event has grown steadily over the years. It is a juried Arts and Craft show attracting crafters and artisans from across Canada. Taking place in October, this event is for many the start of their holiday season. The Assiniboia Downs is great venue with plenty of parking for everyone. The facility has 3 levels and we use every square inch! A free stage is set up in the foyer where we have continuous entertainment and demonstrations.

Scattered Seeds insists that all merchandise in this show be hand-made by the crafter. Generally booths sell out quickly. New exhibitors are selected from our jurying, which is held in January. Exhibitors are welcome to re-apply yearly with priority given to those currently in the show.

Spring Show

Attendance for our spring show is 6,000.

This Annual event has grown steadily since April 2001. It is also a juried show attracting crafters and artisans from across Canada. Taking place in April, this event welcomes in spring. Once again, The Assiniboia Downs is great venue with plenty of parking for everyone. A free stage is set up in the foyer where we have continuous entertainment and demonstrations.

New exhibitors are selected from our jurying, which is held in January. Exhibitors are welcome to re-apply yearly with priority given to those currently in the show.

Booths:

  • Your booth space is guaranteed upon receipt of your completed application form, and a cheque for the total booth cost.You will receive confirmation of your space upon receipt of both your application and full payment.
  • Booth dimensions are 10×10 unless otherwise specified. Please check floorplan for more details.
  • Electricity is available to all booths at no additional cost. Be reminded that you are required to provide your own extension cords and specialty lighting.
  • We are not liable for losses or damage due to theft, fire, inclement weather or any other causes. Please therefore ensure that you arrange for your own insurance.
