Billie Jo Hamilton – Master Sugarist & Educator Billie Jo Hamilton was practically raised in the beauty industry, growing up in her mom’s salon, Diane’s Beauty Salon. Surrounded by the hum of blow dryers and the scent of hairspray, she developed a passion for esthetics early on. But it wasn’t until she discovered body sugaring that she found her true calling.

With 23 years of experience in sugaring, Billie Jo has dedicated her career to perfecting the craft and sharing its benefits with others. For the past 8 years, she has been the proud owner of The Sugar Shop in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she has built a loyal clientele and a strong reputation in the industry.

Beyond running her studio, Billie Jo has spent just as long shaping the next generation of sugarists as the Director of Education for SugarSMAC. Through her education platform, Sugar Shop Education (sugarshopeducation.ca), she offers a comprehensive 3-level certification program—guiding beginners, refining professionals, and mentoring master sugarists.

With a deep belief in skill, technique, and the power of education, Billie Jo is on a mission to elevate the industry—one sugaring professional at a time.
