Zero-Waste Herbal Gifts: Naturally Dyed Cloth & Bath Salts
Join natural dyer and herbalist, ash alberg, for a fun and easy class crafting your very own zero-waste herbal kit (no previous experience needed)!
We will be naturally dyeing organic cotton bandanas using locally grown dye flowers, and while the colours infuse, you will get to mix a custom blend of herbal bath salts with skin-loving herbs like lavender, calendula, yarrow, and more.
Additional kits are available for purchase, allowing you to make a bandana-and-salts gift set for your favourite moms and mom-type folks in your life.

About ash
ash alberg (they/them) is a multi-passionate creative who spends most of their time making art with natural dyes. They’ve been running their business, sunflower knit, since 2014, and sell patterns and sustainably sourced yarns to fellow knitters and fibre witches. They love supporting learning through all stages of life, including writing k-12 curriculum and founding the Cosmos Conference for natural dyers.
ash loves to create interesting worlds for others to enjoy, and providing people with the knowledge and resources they need to create their own interesting worlds.
